Organized by ITRI and PIDA, 2011 tSSL will still take place during “Photonics Festival Taiwan”, which is Taiwan's largest International Optoelectronic Exposition. These expositions include : OPTO Taiwan, LED Lighting Taiwan, OPTICS Taiwan, SOLAR Taiwan as well as the Display Taiwan show. A total of more than 39,328 visitors attended the 2010 events to see 439 companies in more than 1,038 booths. The Photonics Festival in Taiwan is now held every year just a few days after the world-famous 'Computex Taipei' show makes every June the 'High-Tech' month in Taipei.
The purpose of tSSL is to bring together scientists and engineers actively engaged in research, development, and manufacturing on all aspects of Solid State Lighting including materials, epitaxial growth, chip processing, optical, package and heat dissipation design as well as systems and applications to discuss current progress in this field.
In 2010 tSSL, we invited the development director of Philips Lighting (Asia Pacific Region), vice president of GE Lumination, and VP R&D of OSRAM Opto Semiconductors GmbH. The session topics included “Human Factor Lighting”, “AC LED”, “LED Streetlamp” and “Component”. More than 300 attendees from Asia, America and Europe join this great symposium at the 2010 tSSL event in Taipei.
The 2011 Taiwan Solid State Lighting (2011 tSSL) will include the topic of GaN substrate, GaN/Si, human factor lighting and LED Standardization. This great event will take place at Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taipei (TWTC) on June 14-15, 2011.
We sincerely invite you to attend 2011 tSSL and meet with Taiwan LED industry leaders at this magnificent ceremony.
